Accuracy of blood pressure measurement

Yes it is true. A new batch of volunteers at Cardiac Rehab Program. All very pleasant and nice. Their readings of blood pressure sometimes is odd at first, even the last new ones were at first. I think it must just take some practice to get it. They are after all nursing students. One of their names was "Temporary ID Badge" I told her that I thought her parents had a bizarre sense of humor to name her that.

The Metoprolol was certainly doing its job today. Worked ass off to just get to 120

No longer the new guy

As the new patients start coming to cardiac rehab, I find myself being one of the seasoned ones. Knowing the ropes. I watch as the new ones learn the ropes. The weigh in. Putting the heart monitor on. The equipment. The nurses. The screen. The volunteers who take blood pressures. There is even a new batch of them starting. As the new Nursing Program starts new Nursing students arrive. A chance to teach them the ropes.
