No longer the new guy

As the new patients start coming to cardiac rehab, I find myself being one of the seasoned ones. Knowing the ropes. I watch as the new ones learn the ropes. The weigh in. Putting the heart monitor on. The equipment. The nurses. The screen. The volunteers who take blood pressures. There is even a new batch of them starting. As the new Nursing Program starts new Nursing students arrive. A chance to teach them the ropes.
